EIGHT QUESTIONS TO HELP
IDENTIFY SLEEP
DISORDER PROBLEMS
Many physicians are not trained to look for
these symptoms. Here are the warning signs of sleep apnea in question
form. Ask your patient (and his/her significant other) these questions:

Do you snore quite loud? |

Do you stop breathing or gasp for breath
during sleep? |
|
|
Do you doze off or feel overly sleepy watching
television, driving, or during daily activities? |
|
|
Do you have difficulty sleeping several
nights a week? |
|
|
Do you have trouble falling asleep and
wake frequently? |
|
|
Do you wake too early and can't get back
to sleep? |
|
|
Do you experience sleep interruptions such
as bad dreams, heartburn, pain, or discomfort? |

Do you have a decreased sexual drive? |
